Mission Summit

We have found that allowing our staff to work in a fully flexible way is key to successful remote working. We trust our team to maximize their time and use techniques that are idiosyncratic to them.
The SMU+GSV Mission Summit is an annual event that brings together leaders from the investment, government, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy communities to drive purposeful and profitable innovation. For the 2021 summit, we were tasked with creating a website that captured the mission of the event and conveyed its importance to potential attendees.
Our team worked closely with the SMU+GSV Mission Summit organizers to understand their vision and objectives for the event. We developed a brand identity and website design that showcased the summit's mission and conveyed a sense of purpose and urgency. The website featured a clear call-to-action for attendees to register and highlighted key speakers and topics that would be discussed at the summit.
The website design was modern, sleek, and intuitive, providing a seamless user experience for attendees. We incorporated engaging visuals and interactive elements to capture the attention of potential attendees and keep them engaged with the content. The website also featured social media integration, allowing attendees to share their excitement for the event and connect with other attendees before, during, and after the summit.
Our team created a range of digital graphics for the SMU GSV Summit, including branded digital schedules that were displayed on screens, as well as print materials such as custom badges, and a fully branded physical experience. The digital schedules were designed to be easy to read and navigate, featuring a modern and minimalist aesthetic that aligned with the overall brand identity of the event. The branded experience featured eye-catching designs that reinforced the event's theme and identity in physical form, creating a cohesive and immersive experience for all attendees.
The custom badges incorporated the event's branding and provided a professional and cohesive look for attendees. Their look and feel was matched with functionality as the wifi, app, maps, schedule, and more info are embedded into QR codes on the back of the passes.
Our team developed a brand identity and website for the Texas Cup, a pitch competition for college-aged entrepreneurs. The brand identity was bold and modern, with a Lone Star State inspiration and a color scheme of blue and red. The website was informative, user-friendly, and featured a all the information a participant might need to take part in the competition. A custom online platform was also created for participants to upload their first round of pitches. The Texas Cup finalists then present their pitches live at the Mission Summit.
The websites were both a resounding success, driving increased registrations and engagement for the 2023 SMU+GSV Mission Summit and the Texas Cup. Our team was proud to contribute to this important event and help drive purposeful and profitable innovation for the future of business.
